It’s been chilly and the holidays are just around the corner. Still no rain or snow and it’s been great that it has been holding out so well for us weather wise while we continue to meet our business goals.
We have participated in a wonderful group called the Mid-western Cash Flow Club. It involves playing the board game designed by Robert Kiyosaki (author of Rich Dad, Poor Dad). We had a great time with some wonderful like-minded folks who have discovered that what they were doing to make a living, just wasn’t enough anymore in today’s world. As for the game, it is tough. But it makes you realize so quickly, what you are doing wrong and helps teach you how to get out of the rat race.
After that second meet-up, we feel much better about our choice of lifestyle. We are on the right path. We are teetering on the edge of the rat race and have become relatively free of it. But we would still like to improve our income a bit more with cash flow, so that there is a savings for emergencies, for vacations and traveling, and to have more friends and family times without the worries.
I hope with end of the year coming to a close that our friends and families do understand why we are doing what we are doing and choosing this very difficult route. We hope that when we do meet our business goal by early next year, that we can relax, have some time off, do the things we want to do while “the seeds” we planted grow and expand and provide a nice and tidy income for the future with little “work.”
I look forward to the day that we can return the favor of helping, especially those who helped us in our hour of need, and doing things with everyone. Have a great Thanksgiving!
